Media Waiver

By agreeing to this Media Waiver, I, the parent or legal guardian of the registered player ("Participant"), hereby grant the Saginaw Area Futsal League ("SAFL") and its designated representatives the right and permission to:

• Photograph, film, record, and/or otherwise capture the Participant's image, likeness, voice, and/or performance during any SAFL event, game, practice, or league-related activity.
• Use, reproduce, publish, display, and distribute such photographs, video recordings, audio recordings, and/or digital content in any medium now known or hereafter developed — including but not limited to social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok), SAFL's official website, promotional materials, news releases, and broadcast content.
• Edit, crop, enhance, or otherwise modify such content at SAFL's sole discretion for use in promotional, educational, and informational purposes.

Live Broadcast Acknowledgment

I understand and acknowledge that SAFL conducts live video broadcasts of league games via platforms including YouTube (SAFL Primetime Live). These broadcasts are publicly accessible and may be archived or redistributed. By agreeing to this waiver, I acknowledge that the Participant may appear in live or recorded broadcasts, and I consent to such appearances on behalf of the Participant.

Purpose of Use

Media content will be used for the legitimate purposes of SAFL, including but not limited to:

• Promoting the league and its activities to the community
• Highlighting player achievements and league milestones
• Creating educational and instructional materials
• Live streaming games via SAFL Primetime Live broadcasts
• Social media engagement and community outreach

Acknowledgments

I acknowledge and agree that:

• No compensation or royalty of any kind will be provided for the use of such content.
• SAFL retains all rights to photographs, videos, and recordings taken during league activities.
• I release and discharge SAFL, its officers, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all claims arising out of or in connection with the use of such photographs, videos, or recordings.
• This consent and release is binding upon me, my heirs, legal representatives, and assigns.
• I have the legal authority to grant this consent on behalf of the Participant.

Opt-Out Policy

If you wish to opt out of this media waiver, please contact SAFL directly at saginawfutsal@gmail.com with the subject line "Media Waiver Opt-Out" along with the Participant's full name and team. SAFL will make reasonable efforts to respect your wishes; however, incidental capture in group footage or live broadcast content cannot be guaranteed.

Electronic Signature

By checking the "I agree to the Media Waiver" box during registration, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and voluntarily agree to all terms and conditions set forth in this waiver. I understand that this electronic agreement constitutes a binding legal document and is equivalent to a handwritten signature.
